BDPL Presentation - Saturday

Alan Pointers Zeds team will be in full force this Saturday as they go up and collect the Winners trophy for winning the 2011 Barking & Dagenham District Premier League, pictured below this will be the 3rd year in a row they've accomplished this acchievement and also winning the Darren Henshaw Team KO Cup..

South East Area Superleague Grand Final

The first ever South East Area Blackball Superleague Final takes place on Sunday 27th March, at the Q Ball Pool and Sports Bar, Basildon.

The qualified teams taking part on the day are as follows:

The prize fund is £600 which is split £400 for the 1st/2nd/3rd in the main and £200 for the 1st/2nd/3rd in the plate.

The Cue Doctor will have a stall open for cue maintenance and a spread of new cues for sale with some very good discounts available.

The presentation will be made after the comps finish and is followed by entertainment in the way of karaoke from the resident wobbler Mr Brian Salmon.

It should be a very good days pool with a lot of familiar faces in the various teams...

If anyone is in that neck of the woods then they are more than welcome to come along for the drink, food and an enjoyable time we hope.

Friday night Basildon Seniors Comp

In a couple of months we will be looking to start a friday night comp at Basildon.

It will be held once a month on the last friday of the month.
16 players over 40's only.
5 events £100 entry.
16 players drafted into 4 random groups of 4 at each event.
Round robin to be played 4 frames per group match.
top 2 qualify through to q/finals 3rd and 4th in group recieve 2/1 points.
Money to be paid out on day £100 winner £50 r/up £25x2 Semi's.
rest of money put forward along with club input to a one off finals night.
top 8 players after the 5 events qualify for finals night wuth prize money of around £700.
First 16 players to pay entry guaranteed place.
All players will recieve ranking points at each event.
